Workshop
Information
When
The programme is oriented around an effort to enhance the voices and design process of all participants. We would like to acknowledge the benefits of pairing productive sessions with contemplative moments. Time to explore the places around the Hangar and the city of Copenhagen as a whole are of great importance to the workshop.
11–18 August 2023
Starting on Friday morning, the workshop will offer an intense 8 day programme, ending on the following Friday evening. There will be 3 days of preparation, 4 days of hands-on work, and 1 day for final reviews and reflective conversations.
A lecture series was curated to introduce a range of perspectives on “The Everyday” with talks by Anne Romme, associate professor and the head of program of FINDER STED at the Royal Danish Academy of Architecture, Anton Ryslinge CEO and Christoffer Breitenbauch Chairperson from Arkitekten Uden Grænser (Architects Without Borders – Denmark), architect Søren Pihlmann and Nicolay Boyadjiev, director of Practice Lab art Re:arc Institute.
There will be reflective talks at the final exhibition opening by our workshop leaders, Allan Wexler, MacIver-Ek Chevroule and PARABASE.
